Macon’s music lineup is stacked. Here’s a list of artists, bands playing this summer.

Summer 2023 is going to be packed with toe-tapping, headbanging music in Macon.

The sizzle is on as artists like For King + Country, Gov’t Mule, The Beach Boys and Charles Lee Gilbert will take the stage in Macon and across town.

Here’s the rundown:

For King + Country

Who: This Christian pop brother duo has won four Grammy Awards and has had nine number 1 hits. Some of their biggest songs include “God Only Knows” and “Together,” and the pair have collaborated with some of the biggest names in music, like Dolly Parton and Timbaland.

Where: Macon Coliseum

When: May 13, 7 p.m.

Tickets: Tickets are available through Ticketmaster online and prices start at $19. VIP packages start at $75.

Gov’t Mule

Who: This bluesy-rock band has made more than 20 studio albums and is led by Grammy-winning Warren Haynes, a former guitarist for the Allman Brothers Band.

When: May 16, 7:30 p.m.

The Beach Boys

Who: From their formation in 1961 to now, The Beach Boys have over four number 1 hits in the U.S., including “Fun, Fun, Fun” and “Surfin’ USA.”

Where: Macon City Auditorium

When: May 18, 7:30 p.m.

Tickets: Tickets start at $46 and can be purchased online.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band

Who: This blues and rock band from Louisiana is ready to rock in Macon. Kenny Wayne Shepherd is known for his unbelievable guitar skills and his band has a record for the longest-running album on the Billboard Blues charts.

Where: The Grand Opera House

When: June 9, 7 p.m.

Charles Lee Gilbert

Who: This guitarist and songwriter is from Newnan, Georgia and currently plays music in several genres, including jazz, bluegrass and country. He has had several hits, including some on the soundtrack for the movie “Brother’s Keeper.”

Where: Downtown Perry

When: Jul 28, 6 p.m.
