MATT GOTHARD: Welcome back to "Mad Bets" everybody. We have a double header this Monday night. First game up is the Washington Football Team versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. I don't have a play on this, but Jared has made a very interesting bet that the Steelers are going to lose the next two games. Crazy odds with our producer. It's the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. But Jared, why don't you to tell us why you think the Steelers are going to lose to Washington.

JARED QUAY: Yeah, I don't want to make Steeler fans mad, but I think their team's a little bit inflated right now. And you add that with the fact that the NFL completely just screwed them with their scheduling. They just played a Wednesday Night Football game, and they got a play on Monday night a team they played on Thanksgiving, which basically gives them a virtual bye.

I think Ron Rivera's a good coach. Meanwhile, this team is recovering. They lost Bud Dupree. And I think 8 and 1/2 is way too many, and I'm actually going to spring with some money on the Washington money line here because I just think that they are a good football team, and they are playing for a playoff spot. They have every initiative to go out there and really try to win this game. Meanwhile, the Steelers are pretty much clinched in the playoffs. And so I feel like this is a big letdown spot for them.

MATT GOTHARD: All right, well don't bury the lead. You're doing more than sprinkle on the money line. Your bet is $100 to win $500 if they lose both to Washington and next week. So we'll see what's going to happen there.

JARED QUAY: Yeah.

MATT GOTHARD: But I don't really have a play on this one. I guess I'd say over 42 and 1/2, especially with Bud Dupree being out. I think there's a couple of holes in that Steelers defense. I can easily see this game going over, but it's going to be just an entertaining game for myself.

Moving on to the second game of the night also is kind of a weird, interesting watch. We got the Bills versus the 49ers. No real home team in this. Technically, the Niners are home, but this is going to be played in Arizona. Bills land one point here. Jared, what's your thought on that?

JARED QUAY: Oh, bills are going to dominate. Last time the Bills played in that stadium they lost by a Hail Mary. They remember that. I think the Bills team is hungry for a win here. They're probably the most complete team in the NFL when it comes to solid defense, good run game, and a good throwing game.

And so that's why I think the Bills are solid here. I think the 49ers had a really good game against the Rams, but I do think they're just to beat up of a team. They did get some players back. But Kyle Shanahan's a great coach, but I just like the Bills here in this neutral site for is. Give me the edge with the Bills minus 1.

MATT GOTHARD: How is bills minus 1 not like the biggest trap of the year? Like, when you see that, I don't know anybody that's running to the counter to bet the 49ers what am I missing? I mean, Nick Mullins-- I know they beat the Rams last week. Maybe this is recency bias, but it's really hard to look at anything but the Bills.

JARED QUAY: Well, I mean, that team did go to the Super Bowl last year, and they have a huge fan base. And that always counts for something. But yeah, Bills Mafia for one. Baby, come on. Give me a table to jump through.
