MINTY BETS: It's time for our best bets for Tuesday, January 26. I'm Minty Bets here with Jared Quay. Jared, what's your best bet in the NBA?
JARED QUAY: Oh man, I really like this Rockies' team at home against the Wizards. They're 6 and 1/2 point favorites, and I think they should cover that fairly easy. The whole team can shoot 3's. Meanwhile, the Wizards are just coming off a long break due to COVID, and so this is their second game back, and I still think there's some rust there.
I mean, obviously neither team plays great defense, but I just think that the Rockies will put up a bunch of points just because everybody-- all five of them-- can shoot 3's. Boogie Cousins has been hot. They just beat the Mavericks. So I like the Rockets all the way up to about eight, maybe nine points. If it gets past 10, I'm probably not gonna touch it. But I think they'll win pretty handily here.
MINTY BETS: All righty. I'm taking my best bet to Canada. I'm going with the Calgary Flames over the Toronto Maple Leafs now, the flames have been showing that they have some offensive firepower lately. Defensively, they're only allowing two goals per game, and they're killing 91.7% of their opponents' powerplays. So I'm going with the Flames here.
