Mad Men alums Jon Hamm and John Slattery are teaming up for a new movie.

As previously reported, Slattery and Hamm will star in the star-studded movie, which has now been given a new title of Confess, Fletch – and yes, it's a reboot of the 80s comedies, Fletch and Fletch Lives.

The film is based on a series of novels by Gregory McDonald that centre on the title character, Irwin "Fletch" Fletcher (Hamm), a journalist who often is roped into solving odd crimes in a sequel that is over 30 years in the making.

The plot synopsis reads: "In a mysterious chain of wild events, Fletch finds himself in the middle of multiple murders — one of which pins him as a prime suspect.

"While on a quest to prove his innocence, Fletch is tasked with finding his fiancée’s stolen art collection, the only inheritance she's acquired after her father goes missing and is presumed dead."

The collaboration between Hamm and Slattery isn't the only reunion happening in this film, with 30 Rock star Tina Fey also joining them.
