Find out who made the coaches' all-league boys hockey teams

The Vermont Boys Hockey Coaches Association recently announced its all-league teams for the 2022-23 high school season.

As reported to the Burlington Free Press sports department, the coaches' selections are broken down by first, second and third teams for Division I and first, second, third teams and honorable mentions in Division II.

The coaches also named a player of the year for each division.

The teams:

DIVISION I

Player of the year: Jack Strong, Rice.

Coach of the year: Sean Jones, South Burlington.

FIRST TEAM

Forwards: Gavin Blondin, Essex; Andrew Forcier, Essex; Brody Rassel, Colchester.

Defensemen: Ethan Audy, BFA-St. Albans; Lucas Van Mullen, South Burlington.

Goalie: Ian Boutin, Essex.

SECOND TEAM

Forwards: Cooper Blondin, Colchester; Jules Butler, South Burlington; Nick Kelly, South Burlington.

Defensemen: Trevor Arsenault, Spaulding; Evan Baird, Colchester.

Goalie: Andrew Libby, Rice.

THIRD TEAM

Forwards: Kaleb Mckinlay, Colchester; Evan Peloquin, Spaulding; Liam Wood, BFA-St. Albans.

Defense: Keegan Latulippe, Essex; Alex Zuchowski, Champlain Valley.

Goalie: Jason Douglas, Champlain Valley.

DIVISION II

Player of the year: Connor Tierney, Hartford.

Coach of the year: Bruce Garrapy, Mount Mansfield.

Forwards: Joseph Barwood, Hartford; Blaine Gour, Hartford; Brenden Tedeschi, U-32.

THIRD TEAM
