MAFS Australia's Alyssa shares the big wedding moment cut from the show
Married at First Sight Australia star Alyssa Barmonde has revealed that a big moment from her wedding was cut from the final edit of the show.
The reality star, who appeared in the 10th series of the dating show earlier this year, was matched up with Duncan James during her time on the series, and revealed to Hello! Magazine that a scene was cut from their big day.
The scene in question saw Alyssa mention to Duncan that she was a single parent, with the star expressing her disappointment that the line wasn’t aired.

“I don't know why they didn't show it, it totally perpetuates the stigma around single parents," she said. "It was just suddenly revealed [later] like: 'I have a child. I have a child.'
“And then people were like, 'When did she even tell him, when is she going to tell him?' And I said 'Well, guys, I was really upfront and honest, I told him straight away!' I literally do not know why they didn't show it,” she added.
Alyssa and Duncan decided to separate at the end of the series after a turbulent relationship, with the latter subsequently beginning a romance with co-star Evelyn Ellis.

Alyssa commented on the news, wishing her former partner well before revealing she was glad to be out of the experiment: “I do wish the best for Duncan and his future relationship, but the person portrayed on TV is definitely not me,” she said.
“I'm just grateful that it's over and to have my voice back and for people to see that I'm a normal person and a loving mother. It's been hard watching it back specifically because of how the story went, which is not how I remember it,” she added.
Married at First Sight UK airs on E4 in the UK. Married at First Sight Australia airs on Nine Network in Australia and E4 in the UK.
