MAFS UK’s Jay Howard responds to JJ and Katie Price romance

Married at First Sight UK star Jay Howard has responded to castmate JJ Slater's new romance with Katie Price.
JJ, who appeared on last year's series of the reality show, revealed he was dating the TV icon last week.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Jay was asked if she was surprised by the news, especially given that she is close to Ella Morgan Clark (who was paired with JJ during the show).

"I mean, I wish them all the best," she said. "I've got really nothing much to say to be honest. I mean, I get on with JJ.
"I were a bit shocked, yeah, that he got with Katie Price but it is what it is. I wish him well," Jay added.
Confirming the romance with an Instagram picture of himself and Katie cuddling in the snow, JJ wrote at the time: "Sometimes it's when you least expect it."
In her own post, Katie said: "They say things happen for a reason. The unexpected happened. Fate. Ticks every box. [JJ], you have proved to me you are a real gentleman and completely [accept] me for me."

In other MAFS UK news, fellow 2023 series star Peggy Rose has claimed that "the truth will come out" regarding her and Georges Berthonneau's split, posting ahead of last night's (February 26) reunion episode that was filmed prior to their recent break-up.
"I just wanted to say, I hope you all enjoy the MAFS reunion tonight. Sadly, I won't be watching it because I can't bear to see me be a fool and be with a liar," she said on her Instagram Stories.
"And I'm gutted because I feel like I've let you all down. And, it'll just be really hard to watch it, really. I hope you all enjoy it. I absolutely loved it. You know, when I was there, in love – I thought it was love."
Peggy added: "But the truth will come out, that's all I can say and I believe in karma. So yeah, I'm trying to be the bigger person and it's hard."
