Magnitude 3.9 quake rattles Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Mar. 24—A magnitude 3.9 earthquake shook Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on Hawaii island, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake was centered about 15 miles west-northwest of Volcano at a depth of about 1.7 miles at 5:04 p.m.

There was no tsunami threat from the quake, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, which listed the magnitude at 4.1.
