Magnolia State college baseball standouts make Team USA roster

Ole Miss shortstop Jacob Gonzalez, pitcher Hunter Elliott and Southern Miss ace Tanner Hall made the final roster for Team USA's collegiate baseball team. Former USM pitcher Hurston Waldrep also made the team. He is currently in the transfer portal. Team USA head coach and national champion Mike Bianco will lead fellow national champs Gonzalez, Elliott and the rest of the 26 man roster in the Netherlands for international competitiong. Team USA faces Japan Saturday morning to start the Honkbalweek Haarlem event in the Netherlands.
