Magpies Join American Bald Eagle by Alaska's Kenai River
A charming winter display featuring American bald eagles and magpies was captured by a hiker in Soldotna, Alaska, as he was traveling to a campground on Wednesday, December 2.
Photographer Jessie Gacal recorded footage that shows two eagles perched near the banks of the Kenai River. After one of them takes flight, three magpies enter the shot and begin foraging in the snow.
