Mail-in ballots available for April elections in Bartow, Ft. Meade, Haines City, Lake Wales

The Polk County Supervisor of Elections Office has announced mail-in ballots are now available for the April 4 municipal elections.

Registered voters can request a ballot for the cities of Bartow, Fort Meade, Haines City and Lake Wales. These cities have elections for open seats and may have referendums.

To request a mail-in ballot, voters can call the elections office at 863-534-5888 on Mondays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Residents can go online to polkelections.org and click the "Vote by Mail" button in the right column to request a ballot be mailed to them.

No stamp is necessary as each ballot's return postage is pre-paid. All mail-in ballots must be returned by 7 p.m. April 7.
