Two transported after crash shuts down Main Street Bridge, JFRD says

Update 11:21 a.m.: Bridge is back open. Jacksonville Fire and Rescue has cleared the scene.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said that two people were transported from the crash that closed down the Main Street Bridge.

Action News Jax first learned about the crash at 9:27 a.m. from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. Police initially reported that the crash involved a fire, but firefighters just said that was not the case.
