ADAM SHAPIRO: Welcome back to Yahoo Finance. We're watching all of the major indices in the green right now. And to help us understand what's actually driving these markets, Jared Blikre is joining us with some insight. Jared.

JARED BLIKRE: Hi, Adam. We've got the Dow, the NASDAQ, S&P 500 all above 2% for the day, and we'll check out some charts here on the YFi Interactive. We can see the Dow is up about 470 points. Here's the S&P 500. And just looking at the intraday price action, we can see we gapped up here and came down a little bit, kind of tested the unchanged line, and off to the races.

Now relatively speaking, kind of low volatility, low volume, relatively speaking. Over the last five days, we can see we've kind of been in this range. Have to see what happens-- what's going to be the catalyst to break out of it.

But let's take a look at the 10-year T-note yield because that is down pretty big today. It's down 10 basis points, and we can see what's been happening over the last five days there.

Also want to check out the US Dollar Index because that is on the rise a little bit. But last week we had the biggest drop in-- I believe since 1987. That was quite a week for the dollar.

Here is the Dow Jones Industrial heat map. We can see in the upper left Microsoft up really nicely, up 6%. Apple up 2%. J&J-- some positive news there over the weekend-- up 7%. Even JPMorgan is up 2.4%, although financials are underperforming.

We can also take a look at the NASDAQ real quick, and we can see a lot of green there. Adam.
