Makeup Kit: 'Game of Thrones' star Kit Harington trades sword for a makeup brush

Thanks to "Game of Thrones" actress Sophie Turner, we already knew co-star Kit Harington, who played her half-brother – no, make that cousin – is a bit precious about his hair.

"He’s obsessed," she told InStyle back in January. "Before red carpets you would always see him scrunching the ends of his curls to make sure they’re perfect. We all take the (expletive) out on him for that."

Now, as it turns out, not only can Harington bring life to flat curls, but he can also wield a makeup brush like Jon Snow can swing a sword.

That's the takeaway from some behind-the-scenes photos from the dragon pit meeting in the series finale, which was shot on a hot Spanish summer day. Harington, whose character did not appear in the scene, can be seen powdering the sweaty forehead of co-star Maisie Williams, who played Arya Stark, to the amusement of Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran) and Turner (Sansa).

"I have so many questions," mused fan @TARGARYEN on Twitter Tuesday.

‘Game of Thrones’ series finale: A disaster ending that fans didn’t deserve

His multitasking makes sense from a story perspective, argued @Tofsakodu. "I mean, who do you think made Dany’s hair after Missandei was gone?"

Another Twitter user thought Harington might have decided to distance himself from the show's writing this season, which has been widely criticized as being rushed, reverse-engineered and not true to the characters.

"Kit got so fed up with the script that he switched to the makeup department," @silvcrhair suggested.

Although there are no more episodes left to air, "Thrones" fans will get two hours' worth of additional closure at 9 EDT/PDT Sunday when HBO airs "The Last Watch," a documentary that goes behind the scenes of the controversial final season.
