Malassadas, meatballs and Valentine's specials: Fall River Eats
FALL RIVER — Where do you want to eat?
With so many diverse options throughout the Fall River area for foodies with an array of palates, it should be an easy decision. But it is anything but.
With endless places to turn for a delicious dining experience — on top of juggling different moods of hungry companions — it can be hard to settle on just one. But maybe we can help narrow things down.
We've compiled a list of meal deals, special events, and mouth-watering offerings at local eateries and markets to consider when planning your next night on the town, or quick stop for a tasty treat.

Taco Tuesday at Tequila Lime
Looking to get your mid-week Mexican food fix? Tequila Lime Cantina is a great place to head on Taco Tuesdays. Every Tuesday, the eatery at 197 Bank St., Fall River, features $3 tacos made with fresh pico de gallo, lettuce and monterey jack cheese, and loaded with your pick of filling (ground beef, veggie, pulled pork, steak, chourico, BBQ chicken and Buffalo chicken). Keep it simple or add on extras like queso, guac, or rice and beans for a bit more. Carne asada, seared spicy fish or beer battered tacos are also available for $6.95 each. There's a maximum of six tacos per person, per order.
Ready for Valentine's Day
There’s lots of new pastries coming your way this February at Groundswell Cafe and Bakery, including a February doughnut special and Valentine’s Day menu. For their February croissant special, they're bringing back last year's flavor and striping it pink and red. It’s filled with raspberry jam and vanilla pastry cream. Stop in at their quaint 3883 Main Road, Tiverton, spot and check out their sweet and savory menu, inspired by meals from European travels and Rhode Island’s rich agricultural heritage.

This week, they'll also host live entertainment Friday with CJ Martin and Saturday with Emily and Nick from 6 to 9 p.m. While you're there, get a taste of their weekly specials, which in recent weeks have featured menu items such as chicken marsala, Hawaiian Punch flatbread, Mozambique fries, and PB&J Churro Donuts.
