SOUTH BEND — Ilyasah Shabazz, the daughter of Civil Rights icon Malcolm X, will deliver a speech Thursday during the awards dinner at the annual training conference of the Indiana Consortium of State and Local Human Rights Agencies.

The four-day conference began Tuesday at Century Center and is hosted by the consortium and the city of South Bend. Tickets are available online for the remainder of the conference or for individual events, including Shabazz's speech. A ticket to the 6:30 p.m. awards dinner and her speech is $100.

Delivering a keynote address during lunch Thursday will be Becky Richards, the first female tribal chairwoman of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi. Tickets to that event are $50.
