The results of 2019 suggest that in the US, holidaymakers fantasized most about vacationing in the Maldives, followed by Japan, Bora Bora, Las Vegas and Mexico.
And when it comes to geography, the country that eluded Americans the most was Sri Lanka, which was the top "Where is" query on Google this year.
