Malibu Jack's indoor amusement park receives national honors
LAYFATTE, Ind. — A source of family entertainment in Lafayette recently received national recognition in an awards ceremony that included Dollywood in Nashville, Tenn., SeaWorld in Orlando and Schlitterbahn in Texas.
Malibu Jack's, with a location at the Tippecanoe Mall in Lafayette, was a finalist in the Golden Ticket Awards, hosted by Amusement Today that celebrates attractions considered the “Best of the Best" among theme parks, amusement parks, family entertainment centers and water parks.
In 2023, Amusement Today celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Golden Ticket Awards.
Opening in November 2022, Malibu Jack's is a 116,000-square foot indoor theme park that in the Tippecanoe Mall where Sears once called home.
Malibu Jack's also has locations in Kentucky — Ashland, Lexington and Louisville.
The indoor entertainment park includes rollercoasters, miniature golf course, go-karts, laser tag, a big arcade, virtual reality and bowling. Food choices such as pizza, burgers, chicken tenders and wings are available at Malibu Jack's.
In celebrating its latest award, Malibu Jack's is offering $5 off a weekday 4-hour all-access pass for a limited time. For just $24.99, visitors gain access to all attractions from Monday through Friday at 5 p.m., including The Wipeout, Dark Ride, Twist and Shout coaster, golf, go-karts, spin zone, tsunami, swinging ship and laser tag.
