- Kings guard Malik Monk has been one of the NBA's best bench scorers this season, ranking eighth with an average of 14.0 points per game. And he was explosive in the Kings 176 to 175 double overtime win over the Clippers on February 24th. Playing 41 minutes, Monk shot 15 for 24 from the field and 9 for 10 from the foul line, scoring 45 points with 2 rebounds, 6 assists, and 6 3-pointers on 12 attempts.

The 45 points were a career high for Monk, who shot 9 for 13 from the field in the fourth quarter and 2 overtime periods. Monk is rostered in 36% of Yahoo leagues, with the low percentage attributed to the lack of defensive production. However, with the bench score offering sixth round per game value and nine catch formats over the last month, that percentage should increase as the Kings fight for a playoffs spot.
