In an effort to promote physical and mental health, the Boynton Beach Mall is offering free weekly yoga sessions and fitness boot camp classes.
Held indoors on the carpeted area in front of Macy’s, the Boynton Beach Mall’s Summer Sweat Series will be conducted while maintaining social distancing guidelines. Yoga sessions are offered from 11 a.m. to noon every Sunday through Aug. 30, while the fitness boot camp classes are from 6 to 7 p.m. every Thursday through Sept. 3.
Guests can enter through the west entrance near Christ Fellowship and H&M.
“In the midst of the pandemic and uncertainty we are facing, we know that many Boynton Beach residents are feeling both physically and emotionally exhausted,” Boynton Beach Mall General Manager Edward Boylan said in a statement. “We’re excited to offer Boynton Beach Mall as space where our community can come to safely relax and recharge.”
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, the Boynton Beach Mall will be marking designated zones on the carpet to guarantee guests are remaining 6 feet apart. Masks or face coverings are also required to be worn before the start of each class.
Along with the guidelines, individuals must also bring their own yoga mat, water, small towel and other items. Hand sanitizing stations will be available during the class.
Class sizes will be limited to 15 people in order to maintain social distancing guidelines.
