Following an arrest in Alabama last Wednesday, June Shannon's mugshot has been released by the Macon County Sheriff's Office. Mama June, as she's better known, was arrested with boyfriend Eugene "Geno" Doak.

The two were at a gas station when police officers arrived responding to a domestic violence call. Officers found controlled substances and drug paraphernalia on their persons and in June's car, WSFA reports. That included needles, a glass pipe with white residue inside, a marijuana bong, and a pill bottle filled with crack cocaine. Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; Geno was charged with domestic violence harassment, too.

Officers did not initially recognize the couple and were surprised at the amount of attention the arrest received. "I never imagined we would get so many phone calls from so many different people about them,” Macon County Sheriff Andre Brunson said in a press conference. "Me, myself, I wasn’t too familiar with Mama June and all, you know the whole TV series... but somebody recognized them right away."

June was "cordial" while dealing with the authorities, Brunson says, and was released that day on bond. Doak had to wait 24 hours before being released on bond due to the nature of his arrest.

Mama June has yet to speak out about the arrest, though she did live tweet the "Most Outrageous Moments" episode of her WEtv show From Not To Hot Friday, March 15, two days after the incident occurred.

After the news broke this week, WEtv tweeted out a response to the arrest, saying this: "We share our viewers’ concerns for June Shannon and her entire family. We are monitoring events as they occur and are focused, as always, on the entire family’s well-being."

A preliminary hearing for Mama June is scheduled for March 27, PEOPLE reports.
