Man, 25, gunned down in car in apparent drive-by shooting in Queens
A man was shot dead in a car in an apparent drive-by shooting in Queens early Friday, police said.
Cops found the 25-year-old victim in the passenger seat of a crashed silver Chevy Malibu with a gunshot wound to the chest at 12:46 a.m. outside Forest Park near Woodhaven Blvd. and Myrtle Ave.
Medics rushed the man to Jamaica Hospital, but he couldn’t be saved.
The driver was not injured.
Witnesses said someone in a black car rolled up next to the Chevy Malibu and argued with the occupants before opening fire, ABC 7 New York reported. The Malibu struck a pole after the shooting.
Police could not immediately confirm the report Friday.
