A 33-year-old was found dead with a cut to his head in a stairwell of the Manhattan NYCHA building where he lives, cops said Sunday.

Timothy Mills was discovered dead facedown in a 13th-floor stairwell of a Polo Grounds Towers building on Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Washington Heights about 8:50 p.m. Saturday, police said. He had a gash to his head.

Cops were unsure if he fell or was the victim of foul play.

The city medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine how he died.
