Man, 62, fatally shot in head by roommate in Bronx basement apartment: NYPD
A 62-year-old man was fatally shot in the head by his roommate in their Bronx basement apartment, police said Wednesday.
The victim was shot in the basement apartment on W. 169th St. near Plimpton Ave. in Highbridge about 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, cops said. His name was not immediately released.
Cops found the victim’s 51-year-old roommate Angelo Miranda outside the building carrying a gun and took him into custody authorities said.
Miranda was charged with murder and manslaughter about 3:15 a.m. Wednesday after hours of questioning. He was awaiting arraignment in Bronx Criminal Court.
