Three additional bullets also hit a nearby motel, documents show.

Jacob Knight Mechling was charged with public intoxication, sale or delivery of pistol to unlawful persons, unlawful carrying of a pistol, and four counts of discharging a firearm into a dwelling.

Mechling is currently booked into the J. Rueben Long Detention Center under a $110,465 bond, according to online jail records.

An officer was dispatched to the area of 7th Ave N. for a shooting incident. Once the officer arrived, they immediately began to look for the shooter, documents show.
