- The man accused of a car crash that killed a young woman while he tried to run from police in downtown Fresno earlier this month has now been captured. Police announced less than an hour ago Marc Cain Rodriguez was taken into custody in Arizona. 19-year-old Fresno City College student Hannah Pimentel was killed when police say Rodriguez, a known gang member, slammed into her car at N Street in Stanislaus while trying to evade officers pursuing him on May 12. Police did not release additional details at this time on how he was brought into custody or when he may be transferred back to Fresno. Fresno County District Attorney Lisa Smittcamp said previously she planned to file a murder charge against Rodriguez.
