Man accused of stabbing his cousin over argument

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was arrested after Memphis Police say he stabbed his cousin over an argument.

Monday, officers responded to a call in the 1400 block of McLemore Avenue.

The victim told his officers when he got home, he saw his cousin, Christopher Johnson, sitting on the couch with a knife.

Both men had gotten into an argument earlier that day, reports state.

MPD says Johnson stabbed his cousin in the arm and back before running off. The victim was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.

There was a broadcast put out for Johnson, and he was later found by officers.
