Man allegedly found with gun after arrest at Arden Fair Mall

(FOX40.COM) — A man allegedly armed with a gun was arrested at Arden Fair Mall on Friday morning, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Officers arrived at the Sacramento mall around 11 a.m. after reports came in of a man “causing a disturbance at a business.”

While en route to the mall, officers learned that the man was possibly armed with a gun.

After confirming a crime had occurred, officers began sweeping the area for the man and learned that he was seen entering Arden Fair Mall.

The man was spotted by police and attempted to flee, leading police on a foot chase through the mall.

Officers were eventually able to detain the man outside of the mall and reportedly recovered a firearm from the suspect.
