Robinson, a resident of the town of Rutherford College, had an outstanding warrant for larceny out of Caldwell County, according to officials, and dispatch informed the deputy of this.

While patting Robinson down, deputies say they found a sock with a “large amount of a crystal substance” that was later determined to be methamphetamine. Further testing will be done on the substance.
