Man arrested after officers investigate residential burglary: Mobile Police

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A homeless man was arrested after officers patrolled an area to investigate a residential burglary, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Officers with the MPD were patrolling the area of Ann Street and Arlington Street at around 3:11 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, to investigate a residential burglary that occurred the day before on the 1400 block of S. Ann Street.

According to the police department, officers identified the suspect responsible for the burglary.

The suspect, identified as 50-year-old Debron Demetrius Edwin, was arrested and taken to the Metro Jail. He is being held on a charge of third-degree burglary, according to the jail log.
