Man arrested in Pinellas Park ATM robberies

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. (WFLA) — A man has been arrested in connection with two ATM robberies in January in Pinellas Park, according to police.

Cody Jon Yaslik, 31, allegedly pulled a gun on multiple victims at an Achieva Credit Union ATM along Park Boulevard, according to police.

The robberies happened on Jan. 10, police said. No one was injured.

Yaslik was taken into custody with help from a Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office K-9, police said. Yaslik is charged with three counts of robbery with a deadly weapon.

Police said no other details about the case will be released.

“At Achieva Credit Union we prioritize safety for our members and for the community that we deeply care about,” the credit union said to News Channel 8 in a statement in January. “In light of recent events, we are relieved that in this situation, to our knowledge, our members were safe, and no money was exchanged. Our organization is dedicated to providing a secure and supportive environment for all members. We understand that a proactive approach to safety is crucial, and we encourage our members to remain vigilant and aware of your surroundings at all times.”
