Man’s body found floating in Hudson River in lower Manhattan

A woman using binoculars for a better view from her lower Manhattan window made a disconcerting find Sunday — a decomposing body floating in the Hudson River, cops said.

Police found the body of the man, believed to be in his 30s, off the shore of Rockefeller Park near Chambers St. about 4:30 p.m.

An NYPD Harbor Unit boat brought the body to shore at Pier 25. The man’s identity and how he died remained under investigation.
