Man charged with murder in Clinton County shooting

Aug. 19—A Kansas City man has been charged in a fatal shooting that happened Wednesday night in Clinton County.

Brayden M. Holloway is charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of Joshua Galloway, 34, of Turney, Missouri.

The Clinton County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call at 6:17 p.m. on Aug. 17 regarding a male victim with a gunshot wound at a residence outside of Turney.

Lathrop Fire, Tri-County EMS and deputies were sent to the scene where Galloway died from his injuries.

A suspect was identified by witnesses and the Clay County Sheriff's Office arrested Holloway at a home in the area of 108th and Cookingham in Kansas City, Missouri.

Bond for Holloway has been set at $250,000 cash only.

The case was investigated and assisted by the Cameron and Lathrop police departments, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Division of Drug Crime and Control, the ATF and the Clay County Sheriff's Office.
