Man charged with sexually assaulting young child multiple times over a number of years

A West Branch man has been charged with sexually assaulting a child under the age under 13 multiple times between 1993 and 2005.

Scott Holloway, 53, was charged Tuesday with four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

"The defendant is a flight risk and to the community," the Livingston County Prosecutor's Office wrote in a bond recommendation form.

Holloway has yet to be arraigned on charges and does not have an attorney listed on file. He was not in custody as of Friday afternoon, Michigan State Police officials said.

The incidents took place when Holloway lived Putnam Township, a Michigan State Police trooper testified at a January hearing that led to the charges.
