Man chomps off rival’s ear in fight against Bronx family of three

A man bit off his attacker’s ear while fighting off a family of three in the Bronx, police said.

The victim knew his assailants — a woman and two men he identified to police as “friends” — but things quickly soured when the woman wouldn’t give back his phone during the 12:30 p.m. Friday clash in Fordham Heights.

The woman repeatedly hit the 24-year-old victim with a cane — then moments later, her husband and son joined in and struck the victim with a piece of lumber they found nearby.

Outmatched and outnumbered, the victim told police he bit off the ear of one of his attackers in self-defense during the melee on Creston Ave. near E. 184th St.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital with bruises, bites and other minor injuries.

Cops were still looking for the fierce family Saturday. No arrests have been made.
