Man in critical condition after being shot in the head inside NYC deli
A man was clinging to life Saturday after being shot in the inside a Brooklyn deli, police said.
The 27-year-old victim was inside the My Ameer Deli on Watkins St. and Hegeman Ave. in Brownsville around 10:05 p.m. Friday when he got into an argument with another man sporting dreadlocks and wearing a tan vest.
As the two argued, the suspect pulled a gun from his vest. The two fought over the gun before the suspect shot the victim in the head, cops said.
Medics rushed the victim to an area hospital where he was in grave condition Saturday.
The gunman, described by police as a Black man, is still being sought.
