Man crossing I-10 near Downtown El Paso dies after being struck by two cars

A man died Wednesday night after he was struck by two vehicles as he attempted to cross Interstate 10 East.

The man, whose name has not been released, tried to cross I-10 East near Downtown El Paso about 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, El Paso Police Department officials said.

Two cars driving on I-10 East were unable to avoid him. Both vehicles struck the man, who died due to the injuries he sustained in the crash, officials said.

This is the 18th traffic-related death of 2023, compared with 17 at this same time last year.
