Man dead after shooting in Hollywood neighborhood: PPB
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man is dead after a shooting in the Hollywood neighborhood in Northeast Portland early Sunday morning, authorities say.
Just after 2:30 a.m., Portland police officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 4200 block of North Halsey Street. When they arrived, they found the man dead at the scene.
Detectives from PPB’s Homicide unit are currently investigating.
PPB says no arrests have been made at this time and the identity of the victim has not yet been released.
