Man dead after shooting in Whitehaven

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was killed in a shooting in Whitehaven Friday afternoon, according to Memphis Police.

Officers responded to the shooting in the 4800 block of Farris Circle just before 4 p.m.

A man was reportedly located on the scene with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Judge removes himself from Young Dolph murder case

Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
