Man dead, woman wounded in Brooklyn apartment stabbing

A man was killed and a woman was injured in a stabbing in a Brooklyn apartment on Wednesday, police said.

Cops were called to the apartment on Willmohr St. near E. 92nd St. in East Flatbush around 1:25 p.m., they added.

When officers arrived, they discovered a 49-year-old woman with numerous stab wounds to her body and a 60-year-old man with the same injuries.

The man was already dead by the time medics made it to the apartment and the wounded woman was taken to Brookdale University Hospital, where she was expected to survive.

The superintendent at the building told the Daily News on Wednesday that the stabbing happened in the woman’s apartment. The male victim did not live with her.

“When (medics) brought them down she was still conscious,” said Alberto Rosales, 39. “She said my name, Alberto, as they put her in the ambulance. She was stabbed in the chest.”

“She is a nice, quiet person,” the super added. “Nothing like this has ever happened in the building.”

The slain man’s name was not released as police continued to investigate the stabbings.

There were no immediate arrests.
