Man dies after being found shot at east Orange County Burger King, deputies say

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating after a man was found shot in a Burger King parking lot in east Orange County on Saturday night.

Deputies responded to the restaurant at 7643 E. Colonial Drive, just east of Goldenrod Road at 7:30 p.m. and found the victim, described as a man in his 20s, in the parking lot with a gunshot wound, according to a Saturday night news release by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim died from his injuries at a local hospital, the release said.

The investigation is ongoing. No other information was available.
