The Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol were dispatched near the intersection of Shiloh Road and Woodville Pike at around 12:37 a.m. on reports of a crash, a spokesperson for the department said.

When state troopers arrived and investigated the crash, they found that a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee traveled southeast on Shiloh Road when it drove off the left side of the roadway and struck a mailbox.

The Jeep then traveled back onto the roadway and off the left side a second time where it then struck another mailbox, a tree, and a parked car.

The Jeep’s driver sustained life-threatening injuries and died at the scene, confirmed by the Clermont County Coroner’s Office. The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Brian K. Reeves, Jr., 29, of Goshen, was identified as the deceased driver.

The Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol led the investigation into the crash. They were assisted by the Goshen Township Police Department, Goshen Township Fire and EMS, Clermont County Coroner’s Office, and Milford Towing.
