A Harper Woods man died Friday following a traffic crash in Worth Township.

Sanilac County Central Dispatch received a report of a two-vehicle crash on South Lakeshore Road near Galbraith Line Road shortly before 6 p.m., according to the Sanilac County Sheriff Department.

A 60-year-old Harper Woods man was westbound on Galbraith Line Road east of South Lakeshore Road in a 1999 Saturn SL2 when he pulled out in front of a northbound 2011 Chevy Silverado, driven by a 54-year-old Macomb man, the sheriff department said.

The Harper Woods man was pronounced dead on scene.

The Macomb man and his passenger were not transported to the hospital.

Burtchville and Lexington fire departments, as well as Croswell EMS, also responded to the scene.
