Coroner IDs motorcycle rider who died after crash in eastern York County

A 33-year-old man died Thursday after being injured in a motorcycle crash in Lower Chanceford Township, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

Dan Baldwin, of the 600 block of Wise Road in Peach Bottom Township, was pronounced dead at 4:57 p.m. at WellSpan York Hospital, a news release states. He died of multiple blunt force trauma. The manner is accidental.

Baldwin was driving his motorcycle southbound on Woodbine Road in the area of Church Road when he lost control and crashed. The wreck happened around 3:57 p.m., the coroner's office said.

He was thrown from the motorcycle, and a passerby found him, the coroner's office said.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
