Man dies week after crash in Plainview
The Plainview Police Department is investigating an April 4 crash that left Larry Williams of Matador, Texas dead, according to an update from the department released Wednesday.
Investigators believe Williams was driving east through the intersection of SW 4th Street and South Columbia when he failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle headed north in the intersection.
Officers arrived on the scene at 1:57 p.m. April 4, where they found Williams' car with extensive damage. Williams was transported to Covenant Hospital via EMS. No other significant injuries were reported from the other vehicle.
According to police, Williams died in the hospital on Monday.
