Man drowns on frigid day at Lake of the Ozarks

Missouri state troopers say a man died Thursday after falling off his dock and drowning at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Dean Guiducci, 69, of Osage Beach, was pronounced dead at the hospital after falling into the water just after 2:30 p.m. from his dock near the 20-mile mark of the Osage arm, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Guiducci was not wearing a life jacket.

According to the National Weather Service, the temperature around that time at the Lake of the Ozarks was 0 degrees.
