Man ejected, killed in Washington County rollover crash

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — A man was ejected and killed after his pickup truck rolled near Enterprise in southern Utah late Saturday night, according to Utah Highway Patrol.

Just before 12 a.m., a male driver was heading northbound on SR-18 near mile post 40.5 in Washington County, according to Cpl. Quincey Breur, UHP.

The driver veered off the road to the right, overcorrected to the left, and went across the southbound lanes before exiting the opposite side of the road, Breur said.

The man’s pickup reportedly rolled, causing him to be ejected from the truck.

The individual was pronounced dead on scene, Breur said.

Details on what caused the incident, as well as the identity of the victim, have not been released at this time.
