Man fatally shot at apartments in Detroit's Corktown

A man in his 20s was killed Saturday night in Detroit's Corktown neighborhood, WXYZ-TV (Channel 7) reported.

The TV station said the victim was shot to death at an apartment near Bagley and Rosa Parks, just west of downtown.

Detroit police are searching for an SUV that might be involved in the shooting, WXYZ reported.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department.

Police were unable to provide any additional information when contacted by the Free Press Sunday afternoon. The investigation is ongoing.
