"Early information indicates the homeowner was inside his residence with a group of people," Soliz said in an email. "The homeowner was confronted by multiple people and a gunfight occurred inside the home."
A man was shot and killed by the homeowner, Soliz said. The people who arrived with the victim fled the home after the shooting.
