Man found dead in Capital High School porta-potty has been identified

A man found dead Friday afternoon in a portable toilet on the campus of Capital High School in west Olympia has been identified, according to the Thurston County Coroner.

LT T. Smith, 41, was found by school staff about 1:15 p.m. Friday. The man had no known address and is suspected of dying from an overdose of drugs, Coroner Gary Warnock said Sunday.

Smith’s autopsy is set for Tuesday, he said.
